Young Motherhood Program
The Youth Law Center represents young mothers up to the age of twenty-four years old when they become involved in a juvenile court case, or a “Child in Need of Assistance” case, related to the welfare of their young children. It is our hope to work with these young mothers to build a strong, healthy support system to empower young mothers to successfully keep their children in their care, build self-sufficiency and independence.
We are currently seeking community partners to help us build this program to provide these young mothers with wrap-around supportive services that will outlast their juvenile court case.
