Blaire Shireman
Blaire has been a caseworker at Youth Law Center since July 2019. Blaire graduated from Iowa State University in 2016 with her degree in Child, Adult and Family Services. Blaire started her career in the social work field in the summer of 2016 while being employed at Youth Emergency Services & Shelter in Des Moines. Following her time there, she was employed as a direct service provider for families at Mid Iowa Family Therapy Clinic. In 2017 Blaire worked as a Social Worker II at the Iowa Department of Human Services in Polk County. Her passion for working directly with children and the mission behind Youth Law Center has made this her most gratifying role yet.
