Lacey Smith
Lacey Smith joined Youth Law Center in August of 2026 as a paralegal. Before starting at Youth Law Center, she was a volunteer paralegal at Iowa Legal Aid. She took the Paralegal Studies program at Des Moines Area Community College.
When she's not at Youth Law Center, she spends her time with her fur babies and partner. She's never met a craft or do-it-yourself project she's not willing to try. She finds the work that Youth Law Center does to be important and fulfilling. She says she is happy to be a part of such an awesome team.
