Lisa Allison
Lisa is a Drake Law School graduate, licensed to practice law in Iowa. She has 12 years of experience representing children and parents in child welfare cases. Before joining the Youth Law Center Lisa was a sole practitioner at Allison Law Firm. Lisa grew up in the mountains of Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Art History and Theatre. She says she uses the Theatre degree daily in the practice of law. Before law school, Lisa was a graphic designer for 10 years, working at a travel magazine and the US Air Force Academy.
At home, she has an adopted beagle mix named Charley who rules the roost. She admits she has completely lost control of the situation and now has to just do what he demands.
